 y.\n\nKarl Guthe Jansky Discovers Radio Astronomy September 16\, 1932 at 7
 :10 pm in Holmdel\, New Jersey. Karl Guthe Jansky an engineer and research
 er of Bell Telephone Laboratories\, born in Norman Oklahoma\, experimented
  between 1928 and 1932\, and he discovered electromagnetic waves of inters
 tellar origin\, marking the birth of radio astronomy. Using a rotating ant
 enna and sensitive recording equipment of his own design\, Jansky identifi
 ed signals fixed in space\, originating from the Milky Way. This groundbre
 aking discovery revolutionized astronomy\, enabling the study of celestial
  phenomena through radio waves. This is one of the most important discover
 ies of the twentieth century. While investigating atmospheric disturbances
  affecting shortwave radio communications\, Jansky detected weak\, continu
 ous signals that exhibited a fixed spatial direction. Through meticulous a
 nalysis\, he determined the source of these waves to be the Milky Way gala
 xy\, with coordinates of right ascension 18 hours and declination -20 degr
 ees. This discovery marked the inception of radio astronomy\, a field that
  has since transformed our understanding of the universe. Jansky’s work 
 overcame significant technical challenges\, including the development of a
  highly directive antenna system and precise signal intensity recording eq
 uipment. His findings opened new avenues for exploring celestial phenomena
  invisible to optical telescopes\, such as pulsars\, quasars\, and cosmic 
 microwave background radiation. Jansky’s contributions laid the foundati
