 ce another Distinguished\nlecture as a hybrid event. 3D perception—the a
 bility to understand depth and spatial relationships is essential to robot
 ics and intelligent vehicles. This presentation reviews established 3D sen
 sing and computer vision methods before introducing deep learningbased pre
 dictive 3D sensing using monocular cameras. It explains key principles\, c
 ommon architectures\, and training-data requirements\, with SLAM and auton
 omous driving as practical examples. The tutorial also examines accuracy\,
  system compatibility\, and integration with existing cameras and sensor p
 latforms\, highlighting how advanced 3D vision can be achieved without add
