  (in-motion) charging. This invited lecture reviews the fundamentals and t
 he state of the art of WPT for EV applications\, including:\n\n- Principle
 s of inductive and capacitive power transfer\, and resonant coupling\n- Co
 il/pad geometries\, compensation topologies and magnetic coupler design\n-
  Power electronic converter topologies and control strategies for high-eff
 iciency WPT\n- Static\, quasi-dynamic and dynamic (on-road) charging archi
 tectures\n- Misalignment tolerance\, efficiency\, EMI/EMC and safety consi
 derations\n- Standards\, current industrial practice\, open research chall
 enges and future trends\n\nThe lecture is aimed at researchers\, engineers
  and postgraduate students working in power electronics\, electric vehicle
