DESCRIPTION:Abstract: AI is changing more than how quickly work gets done.
It is changing who does the work\, how tasks are delegated\, and how teams
should be organized.\n\nAs AI becomes capable of generating designs\, cod
 e\, analysis\, documentation\, and ideas in minutes\, managers face a new
challenge: deciding what to delegate to AI\, what to keep with people\, an
d where human judgment remains essential.\n\nIn this talk\, Sean Murphy ex
plores how engineering and design managers can rethink delegation and the
design of teamwork in an AI-enabled organization. Rather than simply inser
ting AI into existing workflows\, managers need to reconsider roles\, resp
onsibilities\, review processes\, and collaboration.\n\nThe talk will exam
ine practical ways to divide work between people and AI\, keep humans acco
untable for important decisions\, and redesign workflows as AI capabilitie
s continue to evolve.\n\nAttendees will leave with three practical strateg
ies for navigating uncertainty\, experimenting safely with AI\, and buildi
ng teams that combine the speed of AI with human experience\, creativity\,
  and judgment.\n\nSpeaker(s): Sean Murphy\, \n\nVirtual: https://events.vt
