DESCRIPTION:The Agentic AI & Autonomous Task Execution Bootcamp was organiz
ed by the IEEE JUIT Student Branch\, in collaboration with the IEEE India
Council and IEEE Delhi Section\, from 24–26 August 2026 at Jaypee Univer
sity of Information Technology (JUIT)\, Waknaghat\, Himachal Pradesh. Cond
ucted as part of the Auckland School\, Shimla visit programme\, the three-
day hands-on workshop introduced students to Agentic AI architectures\, au
tonomous task execution\, and edge-AI technologies through practical learn
ing.\n\nThe technical sessions were led by Dr. Salman (IIT Kanpur Alumnus)
and Dr. Aman (Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology Alumnus)\, w
ho guided participants through AI concepts\, hardware demonstrations\, and
real-world applications. Students worked with Raspberry Pi\, Jetson Nano\
, embedded IoT kits\, and autonomous drone components\, gaining firsthand
experience of AI-powered systems capable of performing tasks with minimal
human intervention.\n\nSupported by an organizing team of dedicated IEEE v
olunteers and JUIT faculty\, the bootcamp promoted collaboration between v
isiting students and the university community. The project also strengthen
ed JUIT's international outreach while encouraging interest in Artificial
Intelligence\, robotics\, IEEE membership\, and innovation-driven entrepre
neurship.\n\nThe initiative was supported through the IEEE Region 10 Educa
tional Activities Grant\, with funding allocated toward edge-AI systems\,
computing infrastructure\, IoT development kits\, server setup\, electroni
cs\, and demonstration equipment to create lasting resources for future ed
ucational activities.\n\nRoom: Drobotics Lab\, Bldg: Academic Block\, Jayp
