 Rama Himalayan University (SRHU)\, conducted an Interview Round as part of
  the IEEE Membership Drive for First-Year Students on 2 September 2026.\n\
 nThe activity provided an opportunity to interact with first-year students
 \, understand their interests and skills\, and introduce them to IEEE\, it
 s activities\, and the opportunities available through active participatio
 n in the Student Branch.\n\nObjectives of the Activity\n\n-\nTo introduce 
 first-year students to IEEE and its activities.\n\n-\nTo understand their 
 interests\, skills\, and willingness to participate.\n\n-\nTo encourage th
 e development of communication\, teamwork\, creativity\, and leadership sk
 ills.\n\nInterview Process\n\nThe interview was conducted in an interactiv
 e environment. Students were asked to introduce themselves and discuss the
 ir academic interests\, extracurricular activities\, teamwork experience\,
  creative ideas\, and motivation to join IEEE.\n\nThe interaction also all
 owed students to ask questions and understand IEEE membership\, Student Br
 anch activities\, and the opportunities available to them.\n\nEvaluation C
 riteria\n\nStudents were evaluated on the basis of:\n\n-\nCommunication Sk
 ills\n\n-\nTeamwork\n\n-\nCreativity\n\n-\nConfidence\n\n-\nLeadership &amp; I
 nitiative\n\n-\nEnthusiasm and Willingness to Participate\n\n-\nOverall Pe
 rsonality\n\nOutcome of the Activity\n\nThe interview round helped the Stu
 dent Branch understand the interests\, skills\, and potential of first-yea
 r students. It also helped students gain clarity about IEEE membership\, i
 ts activities\, and opportunities for participation.\n\nThe activity encou
 raged students to take an active interest in developing their communicatio
 n\, teamwork\, creativity\, leadership\, and professional skills through I
 EEE.\n\nConclusion\n\nThe IEEE Membership Drive – Interview Round was su
 ccessfully conducted by the IEEE SRHU Student Branch\, SST. The activity c
 reated awareness about IEEE\, provided clarity regarding membership and ac
 tivities\, and encouraged first-year students to actively participate in t
