DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the monthly administrative meeting of the IE
 EE Washington Section. An emphasis of the September AdCom meeting will be 
 going over the upcoming IEEE elections for both section and chapter leader
 ship this year. All IEEE members in our section and neighboring sections a
 re welcome to attend and learn about the many opportunities for volunteeri
 ng in the Washington Section.\n\nAll chapter officers in the Washington Se
 ction (including joint chapters) are welcome to attend this meeting and pr
 esent an update on their chapters' activities. For example\, a chapter off
 icer may give a short presentation on technical events they have held this
  year or provide slides beforehand in case they cannot attend. IEEE member
 s interested in volunteering for officer roles are encouraged to attend\, 
 meet their section and chapter officers\, and learn about exciting events 
 we have planned for the section this year.\n\nThe September AdCom meeting 
 will be held at Catholic University in the Scullen Seminar Room at Pangbor
 n Hall on the first floor. All IEEE members are invited to join the AdCom
