 nguished Lecturer.\n\nDuring the two-hour lecture\, Professor Reis discuss
 ed current trends and challenges in microelectronics and nanoelectronics\,
  providing an overview of the technological developments shaping the field
  worldwide. He also shared insights into how students and young profession
 als can begin their journey in microelectronics and develop their knowledg
 e and skills in this area.\n\nThe lecture also included information about 
 IEEE CASS opportunities available to students and professionals in Region 
 9\, highlighting ways to become involved in technical activities\, educati
 onal initiatives\, and the broader microelectronics community.\n\nThe acti
 vity provided participants with valuable technical insights and an opportu
 nity to learn from an experienced researcher and IEEE CASS Distinguished L
