DESCRIPTION:Software architecture has continuously evolved—from monolithi
 c applications to distributed systems\, cloud-native architectures\, micro
services\, and now intelligent and agentic systems. While many foundationa
l architectural principles remain relevant\, AI introduces a fundamentally
different class of components into enterprise solutions: components capab
 le of reasoning\, making decisions\, using tools\, maintaining context\, a
nd collaborating with other agents.\n\nWhat does this mean for the softwar
e architect?\n\nThis session explores the changing responsibilities of arc
hitects as enterprise applications move from predominantly deterministic w
orkflows toward systems that combine conventional software components with
AI models and autonomous or semi-autonomous agents.\n\nDrawing on practic
al enterprise architecture and emerging agentic solution-design experience
\, the session examines how architects need to rethink system boundaries\,
  agent responsibilities\, orchestration\, context and memory\, integration
  patterns\, observability\, governance\, security\, and human oversight. I
t will also explore how AI is changing the architect’s own workflow by a
ssisting with requirements analysis\, solution exploration\, documentation
 \, implementation\, and architectural decision-making.\n\nThe session pres
ents intelligent-system architecture not as a replacement for traditional
software architecture\, but as its next evolution—requiring architects t
o combine established engineering discipline with new patterns for designi
ng systems whose behavior is increasingly dynamic\, contextual\, and intel
 ligent.\n\nSpeaker(s): Kalaranjani\, \n\nVirtual: https://events.vtools.ie
