DESCRIPTION:This technical keynote (webinar) addressed the professional des
ign of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems\, with particular attention to the
relationship between fundamental engineering principles and the practical
development of sustainable energy solutions. The presentation provided par
ticipants with a structured view of PV system design\, beginning with the
principal engineering considerations and extending to practical aspects of
  system configuration\, component selection\, sizing\, performance\, safet
y\, and application.\nParticular emphasis was placed upon the importance o
f approaching solar PV design as an integrated engineering process rather
than as a collection of isolated calculations. The session discussed the r
ole of technical data\, design assumptions\, operating conditions\, and so
und engineering judgement in developing reliable and sustainable photovolt
aic systems.\nThe keynote was followed by a question-and-discussion period
\, allowing participants to raise technical and practical questions concer
ning PV system design and its application in contemporary sustainable-ener
gy projects.\nThe session formed part of the technical program of the Inte
rnational Conference on Sustainable Engineering and Smart Technologies (IC
SEST-2026)\, held at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver\, Can
ada.\n\n[ICSEST 2026 CFP]\n\nCo-sponsored by: Research and Education Promo
 tion Association (REPA) LLC\n\nSpeaker(s): Danish\n\nAgenda: \n9:00–9:05
