DESCRIPTION:The development of AI-enables cyber-physical systems with multi
ple sensor/actuator components and feedback loops has given rise to advanc
ed automation applications\, including energy and power\, intelligent tran
 sportation\, water systems\, manufacturing\, etc. Traditionally\, feedback
control has focused on enhancing the tracking and robustness performance
of the closed-loop system\; however\, as cyber-physical systems become mor
e complex and interconnected and more interdependent\, there is a need to
refocus our attention not only on performance but also on the resilience o
f cyber-physical systems. The goal of this presentation is to provide insi
ght into the design and analysis of intelligent monitoring methods for AI-
enables cyber-physical systems\, which will ultimately lead to more resili
 ent societies.\n\nSpeaker(s): Marios M. Polycarpou\n\nRoom: 418室\, Bldg:
