DESCRIPTION:The IEEE EMBS Student Branch Chapter SBC31061F\, in association
with the Department of Biomedical Engineering\, Karunya Institute of Tech
nology and Sciences\, is organizing “PathoSolve – The Biomedical Detec
tive Challenge” as part of IEEE Week 2026 on 13 October 2026\, from 2:00
PM to 4:00 PM.\n\nPathoSolve is an interactive medical detective game whe
re participants work in teams to solve clinical mysteries using biomedical
signals\, medical instrument readings\, and diagnostic clues. Teams will
 analyse different biomedical signals such as ECG\, PPG\, EMG\, and EEG\, i
dentify important signal features\, and connect their observations with sy
mptoms and clinical clues to determine the most likely medical condition.\
n\nThe event is designed to provide an engaging and practical learning exp
erience while developing participants’ skills in biomedical signal analy
sis\, clinical reasoning\, diagnostic problem-solving\, and teamwork. Team
s will receive clues progressively and compete to arrive at the correct di
agnosis within the allotted time.\n\nThrough this challenge\, participants
will gain a better understanding of how biomedical signals and clinical i
nformation can be interpreted together for disease detection and clinical
 decision-making.\n\nDate: 13 October 2026\nTime: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM\nOrga
