DESCRIPTION:The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) Sri Lanka Chapter coll
 aborated with the Two-Day International Workshop on Recent Trends in VLSI\
 , Circuits and Systems (RTVCS–2026)\, held on 30–31 October 2026 at As
 sam Engineering College\, Guwahati\, India\, in association with the 7th I
 nternational Conference on Micro/Nanoelectronics Devices\, Circuits\, and 
 Systems (MNDCS–2027).\n\nThe workshop brought together researchers\, aca
 demics\, industry professionals\, and students to explore emerging develop
 ments in VLSI\, semiconductor technologies\, micro/nanoelectronics\, circu
 its\, and systems.\n\nThe technical programme included expert talks\, invi
 ted lectures\, hands-on training\, RTL coding and FPGA implementation\, se
 mi-custom IC design and power analysis\, and industry-focused technical se
 ssions.\n\nThrough this collaboration\, IEEE SPS Sri Lanka supported an in
 itiative that promotes technical knowledge exchange\, interdisciplinary co
 llaboration\, innovation\, and academia–industry engagement. The collabo
 ration also provided opportunities to strengthen connections between signa
 l processing\, electronics\, circuits\, and systems research communities.\
 n\nThe activity contributed to the IEEE SPS Sri Lanka Chapter’s efforts 
 to promote technical education\, professional development\, research colla
 boration\, and international engagement in related areas of technology.\n\
