DESCRIPTION:As part of the Season School on Chemical and Biochemical Sensor
s organised by CMC2 comunitee\, an IEEE Day Celebration will be organized
 on October 15\, 2026\, bringing together students\, researchers\, academic
s\, and industry professionals working in the field of sensor technologies
.\n\nThe program will feature an interactive round-table discussion dedica
ted to the key performance parameters used to evaluate chemical and bioche
 mical sensors\, including sensitivity\, selectivity\, stability\, response
  time\, limit of detection\, reproducibility\, and long-term reliability.
This session will provide participants with an opportunity to exchange per
spectives\, discuss current scientific challenges\, and explore future dir
ections in sensor research and development.\n\nThe event will also celebra
te IEEE Day\, which recognizes the global IEEE community and the spirit of
collaboration that connects IEEE members around the world. Participants w
ill learn more about IEEE activities\, technical societies\, professional
development opportunities\, and the mission of IEEE to advance technology
for the benefit of humanity.\n\nThis event will be open to both IEEE membe
rs and non-IEEE members\, providing an inclusive environment for networkin
g\, knowledge sharing\, and engagement with the IEEE France Section and th
 e broader scientific community.\n\nCo-sponsored by: CMC2 and CH08854 - Fra
