 EE Washington Section. An emphasis of the October AdCom meeting will be go
 ing over the upcoming IEEE elections for both section and chapter leadersh
 ip this year. All IEEE members in our section and neighboring sections are
  welcome to attend and learn about the many opportunities for volunteering
  in the Washington Section.\n\nAll chapter officers in the Washington Sect
 ion (including joint chapters) are welcome to attend this meeting and pres
 ent an update on their chapters' activities and their progress holding ele
 ctions. For example\, a chapter officer may give a short presentation on t
 echnical events they have held this year or provide slides beforehand in c
 ase they cannot attend. IEEE members interested in volunteering for office
 r roles are encouraged to attend\, meet their section and chapter officers
 \, and learn about this year's exciting events.\n\nThis AdCom meeting will
  be held at Catholic University in the Scullen Seminar Room at Pangborn Ha
 ll on the first floor. All IEEE members are invited to join the AdCom for
