DESCRIPTION:The evolution towards sixth-generation (6G) communications brin
gs together connectivity\, sensing\, computing\, and artificial intelligen
ce to support richer human–machine interaction together with collaborati
ve robotics. This talk explores how emerging 6G capabilities could enable
autonomous systems through the coordinated exchange of visual\, auditory\,
haptic\, and sensor information. It highlights integrated sensing and com
munication\, edge intelligence\, and semantic and task-oriented communicat
ions. Application scenarios span smart manufacturing\, healthcare\, logist
ics\, and emergency response. Particular attention is given to cooperative
perception\, real-time coordination\, and adaptive allocation of communic
ation and computing resources. The talk concludes with research challenges
and standardisation priorities for scalable\, trustworthy autonomous beha
viour and seamless multimodal interaction\, connecting advances in wireles
s networks with the operational demands of intelligent machines.\n\nSpeake
