DESCRIPTION:Abstract: Digital beamforming provides a system-level framework
for turning antenna arrays into computational sensors that estimate signa
l direction\, form beams\, and suppress interference. The seminar introduc
es per-element digitization\, covariance matrix formation\, and eigenstruc
ture analysis\, supporting DOA algorithms such as MUSIC and ESPRIT and ada
ptive beamforming methods including MVDR\, LMS\, and RLS. Simulation and h
ardware demonstrations examine calibration\, phase coherence\, converter p
erformance\, and covariance estimation in practical digital array systems.
