DESCRIPTION:The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (EC
E)\, United Institute of Technology (UIT)\, Prayagraj\, successfully organ
ized ELEXPO 2.0 – A Mini Project Exhibition on 28 October 2026\, under t
he aegis of the IEEE Student Branch\, UIT Prayagraj (STB60206787)\, and IE
EE Signal Processing Society (SPS) Student Branch Chapter\, in collaborati
on with the IEEE UP Section Professional Activities Committee (PAC).\nThe
event aimed to promote technical innovation\, practical learning\, creativ
ity\, and project-based education among engineering students\, while encou
raging them to explore emerging technologies and strengthen their foundati
ons in core Electronics and Communication Engineering.\nThe exhibition wit
nessed enthusiastic participation from 100 students and 30 faculty members
\, with 25 innovative mini-projects presented by student teams. The projec
ts demonstrated students' technical knowledge\, problem-solving abilities\
, creativity\, and practical application of engineering concepts.\nThe pro
gramme was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Srivastava\, Principal\, UIT Praya
graj\, who\, in his welcome address\, motivated students to develop strong
fundamentals in core Electronics and Communication Engineering. He emphas
ized the importance of pursuing opportunities in core engineering domains
and encouraged students to enhance their technical competencies through ha
nds-on projects\, experimentation\, and continuous learning.\nDean Academi
cs\, also addressed the gathering and highlighted the growing significance
of core engineering disciplines in technological advancement. He encourag
ed students to focus on fundamental engineering concepts\, practical imple
mentation\, and innovative solutions to real-world challenges.\nThe event
was organized under the guidance of Mr. Amitabh Srivastava\, Head\, Depart
ment of Electronics and Communication Engineering\, with Dr. Amit Singh\,
Associate Professor\, ECE\, UIT Prayagraj\, serving as Project Coordinator
\, and Mr. Tilak Saxena serving as Mini Project Coordinator.\nA panel of j
udges carefully evaluated the 25 projects based on innovation\, technical
implementation\, practical applicability\, presentation skills\, and overa
ll project performance. Following the evaluation\, the judges selected the
outstanding projects for the Winner\, First Runner-up\, and Second Runner
-up positions\, recognizing the students' creativity\, dedication\, and te
chnical excellence.\nELEXPO 2.0 provided an excellent platform for student
s to transform classroom knowledge into practical engineering solutions\,
develop teamwork and communication skills\, and gain valuable experience i
n presenting their technical ideas before experts and faculty members.\nTh
e event concluded successfully\, reinforcing the commitment of the Departm
ent of ECE\, IEEE Student Branch\, IEEE SPS Student Branch Chapter\, and I
EEE UP Section PAC towards fostering technical excellence\, innovation\, e
xperiential learning\, and professional development among students.\n\nCo-
