A Seminar on “Opportunities for higher studies”
The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Sree Rama Engineering College has organized a Seminar on “Opportunities for higher studies” under SRET IEEE Student Branch. The Event was held on 9th November 2023.A total of 277 students of III ECE & IV EEE have attended this event. The main objective of this seminar is to give awareness on Gate exam preparation and importance of clearing gate exam to get jobs in government and private sector, pursuing higher education. The speaker of today’s session Mr.S.Manimohan Trinath, GATE & ESC Trainer ACE Academy, Hyderabad started the session with the discussion on number of jobs available in government and private sectors for electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering.
Later the speaker gave clarification regarding central and state government jobs for ECE & EEE graduates. Speaker also explained about the subjects needed to prepare for gate exam. He also explained about the question paper pattern of gate exam and minimum cut off marks to get gate score.
He also told that gate score is useful for getting entrance in top institutes like IIT’s, NIT’S for pursuing post graduation programme with a stipend of 12,500/- month. Finally, he cleared all the doubts asked by the students and suggested to prepare for gate exam 2023.The seminar ended with National Anthem.
