Making the transition from full time employment as an engineer in a large company, to an entrepreneur consultant can be a scary journey that can be fraught with potholes. This is probably not a path that everyone should pursue. Making the transition from full time employment as an engineer in a large company, to an entrepreneur consultant can be a scary journey that can be fraught with potholes. Biography:

Alfred Gunther is an automotive engineer with over 40 years of experience. Al has four patents, with a potential fifth in process. Born, raised and schooled in New Jersey, all of Al’s parents and grandparents, along with most of his extended family, were entrepreneurs. Al retired from GM during the bankruptcy and started his consulting business, Global Engine Cooling Solutions, LLC (GECS). Founded in 2009, GECS provides manufacturer’s representation for automotive suppliers, consulting services, and employee training to automotive suppliers and OEMs.
