Compuer Society Weekly Meeting -1 | IEEE Student Branch College of Engineering Chengannur
IEEE Computer Society SB Chapter Chengannur College of Engineering conducted its weekly meeting at the IEEE library on 14th March 2019 from 12.30 pm to 1.00 pm. The meeting was headed by Shan Eapen Koshy, Chairman of IEEE Computer Society. A brief introduction about the new ExCom was given by Shan with the assistance of Shylesh S, Vice Chairman of IEEE Computer Society. The meeting also witnessed an elucidation of the upcoming event "Summit 2019" and the IEEE events accompanying the same. A depiction about the Summit pre-event was also rendered. Shan and Shylesh asked the members about their perception of the Devcom stall erected as a part of AKPESSC'18. R Aravind came forward and interpreted what he observed and understood. "Hall of code" was introduced during the meeting and first-year members were asked to come up with innovative projects for the stall. Sooraj P R, Ex-CECian and former Chairman of IEEE Computer Society SB Chapter Chengannur College of Engineering shared the experience from his first step towards volunteering to how he tackled all odds to master them emerging as an effective leader. Shan voted his thanks and the meeting was successfully led to the conclusion.
