Essex STATCOM Tour

A technical tour will be given of the Essex STATCOM substation.  The station will be energized, but the control room, cooling system, transformers and filters will all be visible.  A quick presentation will be given during the tour to provide visuals of inside the Inverters.  During the tour safety PPE (Hard Hats, Safety Glasses, etc) will be provided, but if you have your own; it is encouraged to bring with you.
