Tour the new Moogseum and join us for another Rooftop Social

Hey IEEE WNC members! Don't miss the IEEE WNC Moogseum private tour followed by a new Rooftop Social at the awesome AC Hotel's Capellas on 9 Rooftop Restaurant & Bar!

Schedule:

5:30 - 6:30 pm - Private Tour of the Moogseum by the IEEE WNC Section
6:30 - 8:30 pm - Rooftop Social a block and 1/2 up the street at Capellas on 9

Everyone enjoyed the Summer rooftop event so much we decided to do it again here on the second day of Fall in 2019, but this time we added one of our traditional favorites - a quick tour! It's the new Moogseum located at 56 Broadway Street in the heart of beautiful downtown Asheville, NC to show our support the electronic music scene in Asheville and one of our own - Bob Moog - an American engineer, an IEEE Fellow and pioneer of electronic music he was the founder of Moog Music and the inventor of the first commercial synthesizer, the Moog synthesizer.

Then just stroll on up the street to 10 Broadway at the AC Hotel and take the elevator up to Capellas on 9 for breath taking view of the Asheville skyline as the sun sets. Beverages will be on your own, but the Section will be covering the Moogseum tour cost and some evening appetizers as we talk about what we've seen afterwards.
