IEEE NSW Education Chapter is organizing a student poster competition at UNITE 2019. UNITE aims to bring together the Engineering community of NSW together. It will be a great opportunity for the students to showcase their research to the Engineers (students, academics, industry professionals) of NSW. Blind review process will be followed for the judging.

Best posters in each category will be awarded a certificate at UNITE 2019. Overall best poster will win a Koala Breakfast for two people (valued at $120)

There will be two categories in the competition: Under-graduate (UG) and Post-graduate (PG). Students need to follow the below mentioned steps to participate in the competition:

Step 1: Register for the event

Step 2: Send a softcopy of the poster (in PDF) to sudipta.chakraborty@mq.edu.au by 25th July 2019. A confirmation email will be sent as an acknowledgement. Students need to clearly indicate "UG"/"PG" at the bottom right corner of their poster. To ensure a blind review process, students are requested not to mention the name of the authors and affiliation in the softcopy of the poster.

Step 3: Shortlisted posters will be notified by 2nd August. The selected posters will be printed by the organizing committee. Selected students only need to attend and present their posters at UNITE 2019 (on 9th August, 6:30pm-7:30pm, Mercure Sydney).

Step 4: Outcome of the competition will be announced at UNITE 2019 after the poster session.
