Dennis Carlsen of Luminant - Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant
Biography:
Dennis Carlsen holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Brooklyn, Polytechnic Institute. He has over 30 years of nuclear related experience. He has held positions in Maintenance, Construction, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Testing, Design and Environmental Equipment Qualification. He has worked for EBASCO, TXU, AREVA NP, CB&I, Wectec, and Luminant on the following projects: St Lucie Units 1 & 2, Shearon Harris, Fort St. Vrain, South Texas Units 2 & 3, Crystal River Unit 3, San Onofre Units 2 & 3, Bellefonte, Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant (CPNPP), and AREVA Evolutionary Power Reactor.
He helped form the Glen Rose chapter of PES that meets at CPNPP and is the current chairperson.
