Updates on engineering ethics and Code of Conduct, Board Activities, rule and statutory changes, and general updates on Board initiatives.
Biography:
Michael Sims currently serves as Director of Compliance & Enforcement with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. He joined the Board in June 2018. Michael previously held positions as Special Projects Manager/Engineer in Technical Permitting, and as Manager, Environmental Permits & Support with the Texas Railroad Commission. Michael began his career in June 2005 at the Texas Commission on Environmental Air Quality as an Engineering Specialist after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Chemical Engineering.
He has been a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas since 2010.
