The IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (Swiss Chapter) jointly with the IEEE Power Electronics Society (Swiss Chapter) organized a very interesting workshop on " Power Electronics SW Development and Testing Tools", hold on Friday, March 29th afternoon at the premises of ABB in Turgi.

This workshop presented SW Testing procedures and related challenges, in particular for traction and MV application. Furthermore, an overview on technical features and benefits of state-of-art HIL simulation platform were provided.

Four experts from companies offering SW and HW related to HIL simulation platforms as Plexim, Imperix, Typhoon-HIL and Speedgoat shared their knowledge and vision on the topic.
