Judges Needed for State Science Fairs

IEEE Oregon will again provide Special Awards for the Intel Northwest Science Expo's (NSWE) State Fair.

Due to COVID-19 this year the Science Fair will be virtual.

The Northwest Science Expo has split the high school and middle school fairs. This means double the opportunity to judge from your computer.
Dates for the high school fair are April 4-8 and possibly the 10th. From April 4-7 you will need to spend a maximum of 6 hours reading or viewing reports and ranking all the projects in your assigned category.

Middle school will be similar with judges reviewing projects May 2-7th.

There are two IEEE special awards categories: middle school and high school.

If you are interested in being an IEEE judge for the State Fair register below or contact:
Middle School Fair: Coral Jean Cotterell, coraljean.cotterell@ieee.org
High School Fair: Ed Perkins, e.perkins@ieee.org

We will send you instructions on how to register with NWSE as a Special Awards judge.

See http://nwse.org/nwse for more details on the Science Fairs.

YOU MAY ALSO REGISTER AND INDICATE YOUR INTEREST IN HIGH SCHOOL OR MIDDLE SCHOOL JUDGING.

Note: The standard registration steps sign you up as an NWSE judge and you want Special Awards.
