IEEE CS Webinar: Online Webinar on What do we expect from a "Quality Paper"?
The term “Quality” may mean differently to different people under different circumstances. However, there are certain expectations from academic and scientific research publications. It is utmost important for authors to understand and abide to the requirements in order to avoid rejection and severe negative comments on a submission. In this talk, Professor Lance C.C. Fung shared his experience from being an academic supervisor, reviewer of papers and grant applications, member of editorial boards and Chair/Member of the IEEE Conference Quality Committee and the IEEE Technical Program Integrity Committee. He discussed what are the expectations from a “quality paper”. He also highlighted some of the subtle points that authors or proposers should be aware of, with respect to the IEEE conference technical program organisation and an acceptable “quality paper”.
