The Denver chapter of the IEEE PES/IAS is the region’s foremost organization representing electrical and power engineers. Our mission is to further education and professional development; provide professional and social networking opportunities; and encourage student involvement in the industry through project funding, scholarships, and event subsidies. The annual PES/IAS golf tournament has become a fun-filled tradition that helps raise funds for activities that support the chapter’s mission. Examples include:
- Maintaining the $0 meeting and dinner fee for students
- Providing project funding to student senior design teams for the annual PK Sen awards
- Maintaining low meeting and dinner fees for professionals
- Hosting special events such as facility tours and networking happy hours
These are unprecedented times, so we appreciate the support and interest in keeping the tradition alive in a slightly different form. We hope you’ll consider "joining" us!
