Dr. Renann Baldovino of De La Salle University

Biography:

Dr. Renann G. Baldovino is an Associate Professor of the Manufacturing Engineering and Management Department of the Gokongwei College of Engineering, De La Salle University. He handles courses in electronics design, biomedical instrumentation and artificial intelligence. His research interests are on the application of advanced controls and computational intelligence to manufacturing systems and industrial processes. Dr. Baldovino has presented multiple technical papers in various local and international symposiums and conferences. He has published more than 70+ ISI/Scopus-indexed publications in highly reputable journal and conference proceedings, where he got more than 200+ citations.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Mapua Institute of Technology, where he graduated as cum laude; and his Master of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering (MSECE) where he was a recipient of the Engineering Research and Development for Technology (ERDT) scholarship and the Doctor of Philosophy in Electronics and Communications Engineering (PhD), where he received an outstanding dissertation award for his project, ‘Intelligent Monitoring and Controls for Remote Smart Farm with Low-power Wide Area Network’, both from the De La Salle University.
