Tech Talk The Five Abilities by Rick Wong
You will learn The Five Abilities®, how they work, and how you will apply it to your business and to your own needs for being more marketable. I look forward to sharing this commonsense approach in ways that will be immediately beneficial to you.
2020 – Unique, Unusual, & Uncertain – How to be marketable anyway
All of us, whether we are engineers, developers, scientists, or sellers, must do the right things that keep us top of mind with our customers, clients, partners, and employers. This is true in normal times and it is even more true in 2020.
When things become uncertain, it is good to have a repeatable framework that helps you stay productive and present in times like this. The Five Abilities® is that framework that helps you earn VISABILITY, CREDABILITY, VIABILITY, CAPABILITY, and RELIABILITY, with all people you work with and those with whom you hope to work.
2020 is a year of change and change management experts advise us to find something we can hang onto that doesn’t change, so that we remain productive and so that we manage the uncertainty rather than letting it manage us. While The Five Abilities® was created as a sales tool for those selling products and services, it is equally as helpful when you are selling yourself—something all of us do every day, especially in 2020.

The Five Abilities
Biography:
Rick Wong has over three decades of success in enterprise sales, service, sales management, and executive roles. His experiences taught him that people make business decisions for personal reasons. They look for five strengths from sales and service people, and the companies they work for, when deciding with whom they will do business.
Rick created The Five Abilities® sales framework to teach, coach, and consult on how to increase revenue through servant-oriented sales and service practices. The Five Abilities® guides customer/client-facing people to the best-next-actions that address the five strengths that help customers/clients decide from whom they will buy.
