After the first workshop held successfully in Dec. 2019, we cannot wait to organize this second one this year. However, due to the pandemic, it will be held 100% virtual with no registration fees.

This half-day workshop focuses on planning, operations, control, modeling, and business cases of transmission & distribution connected renewables & energy storage, and their impacts on the system. We have multiple speakers from utilities (i.e., AEP, ComEd, SMUD), consultants (i.e., Burns & McDonnell, Grid-X Partners), and universities (i.e., OSU, KSU). The keynote speakers include AEP CEO and IEEE PES President-Elect. At the end of the workshop, a panel/roundtable session will be held for additional questions and discussions across the industry. 3.5 PDHs will be provided to attendees who attend the entire workshop and answer the poll questions. This is a great and uncommon opportunity for you to learn & discuss those cutting-edge technologies with experts from various perspectives. Please RSVP before Dec. 3rd with a correct email address, where the Webex Event participation information will be sent. Look forward to seeing you online!
