Abstract: The Omron Automation - Americas engineering team will be presenting on key considerations for integrating an "autonomous mobile manipulator robots (AMMR)" (specifically a collaborative 6-axis robot arm mounted on a mobile robot base). In
combination with the wide range of automation products Omron provides, the "autonomous mobile manipulator robot (AMMR)" is
integrated into factory/logistics environments to complete a variety of tasks. With a wide selection of sizes for both the
collaborative arms as well as the mobile robot base, this robot offers a various solutions for material-handling in
the factory such as tending to multiple machines or assembly with just a single AMMR (depending on required cycle-times).

This session will discuss the fundamentals of the mobile robotic hardware and navigation, as well as detailing some key features required for a "topper" integration. It will also be going over the collaborative robot software, and the methods used to integrate this to be mounted on a mobile robot platform.

Please join the Omron Automation engineering team as they discuss this exciting new technology.

Presenters: Omron Automation Engineering Team – Atef Massoud PhD, Kate Cramer, Alex Ormerod
