IEEE Awareness Session

IEEE Student Branch - the University of Jaffna has organized an "IEEE Awareness Session" to disseminate knowledge about IEEE, to students and foster an interest in IEEE and it's related privileges for its' members among them. The session is expected to answer any questions regarding IEEE. We have taken great care to bring to you a very special speaker who is in his own right a prominent part of IEEE Sri Lanka Section.

Biography:

Chamika Sudusinghe is an undergraduate from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of University of Moratuwa. He is working as a trainee computer engineer at LiveRoom PvT Ltd. As a volunteer, he is currently serving as the Sectional Student Representative of IEEE Sri Lanka Section. Chamika has been an active volunteer of IEEE since 2017 and was part of many of the projects that were carried of in both student branch level and national level. He is the first volunteer from IEEE Sri Lanka Section to the Richard E. Merwin Scholarship for the volunteering contribution he did for IEEE. Further, he served as the Secretary of IEEE Techno Meetup and IEEE SLInspire for the year 2019. Apart from that he served as the webmaster of IEEE student branch of University of Moratuwa last year and was the chairperson of both IEEEXtreme 13.0 and MoraXtreme 4.0 organized by the IEEE student branch of University of Moratuwa.
