  Speakers

Mr. Wyatt of Wyatt Technical Services, LLC

Topic:

Self-Publishing with less pain, more profit.

This presentation will describe how I self-published my latest book, “Create Your Own EMC Troubleshooting Kit (Volume 1)” using Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) tools.

I’ll briefly describe how I coauthored my first book through a conventional book publisher, The IEC, in the UK and then compare the process with that of Amazon.

Assuming you have a manuscript, publishing through KDP is a simple step-by-step process, fully documented with links to supporting documents and training videos.

Best of all, you get to retain all rights, get to set the price and reap most of the profits, while Amazon provides the printing on demand and sales process.

Outline:

  1. Publishing through a classic book publisher (pros and cons)
  1. Publishing through Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) (pros and cons)
  1. Using the KDP tools, step-by-step
  1. Q&A
