The Pre-University Student Workshop and Competition on EMBEDDED SYSTEMS 2021 (EMBED’21) was organized by the IoT-Edge Computing Research group of the Department of Software Engineering, Federal University of Technology, Owerri in collaboration with the IEEE Computer Society - Nigeria Section Chapter.

The event featured a workshop and competition event for pre-university students and teachers. The event was held on October 13^th and 14^th 2021 at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo Sate (located in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria). Notably, the IEEE Day celebration for 2021 will take place as part of this event.
