Integration day

Finally, the promised day has come. It is the 8th of September 2021, our first official gathering with our new IEEE ENET'COM family members.

We held the organization at "SFAX LAND" which is a nearby spacious green park to our university to make it easier for them to join us on our special day. The decoration settlement started at 2 PM, then we distributed the hosting tasks between us and tried to test the functioning of the electronic equipment such as the microphone, the speakers, the camera, and the data show making sure that everything is under control.

Once they started to arrive, they did the registration and received colored cards for the check-in. We delivered a welcoming speech by introducing ourselves, our student branch, and the variable activities that we are going to have. Moreover, we explained to them the giving points policy that we will follow during our integration event; those who are going to collect the maximum of points in each activity will be given a souvenir from IEEE ENET'COM. Then we asked them to split into 5 groups based on the colors of their cards and started our first team building activity by doing circle talks in order to get them to know each other even more. Next, we moved to more exciting and competitive games that demand having strong and healthy communication between the members of each team so that they can win. Actually, the main purpose was not to compete and to try winning in so many games but to have fun and enjoy those memorable moments. After all, we are all winners for having the chance to be among such a large and lovely family.

In the end, we invited them to watch our most beloved previous videos and started our traditional ending activity which is karaoke. We sang our favorite songs, distributed the promised souvenirs, and did a large group picture.
