IEEE NJ Coast Women in Engineering bring to you a discussion of the Benefits and Challenges of the New Workplace.  As we and our workplaces adjust to a post Work From Home world -- what will be the mix of office based work and work from home? What are the benefits and challenges we'll face?  We'll have panelists discuss:  Transitioning and onboarding to a new job and leading a global team;  Can't wait to get (the whole team) back to the office; What's it like relocating for a new job during a pandemic; and preferred workplace for immunicompromized.

Panelists will be speaking of their personal views and experiences, they are not speaking as representatives of their respective employers or IEEE.

Heather Vaughn User Experience Research | UX Architect & Strategy at iHeartMedia:  I prefer going into an office when I can because things just go faster in person and are greatly enhanced by environmental and social cues.

Lauren Powers  Nuclear Project Manager at Emerson Automation Solutions:  During COVID, Lauren took a leap of faith and moved from Northern New Jersey to Providence, Rhode Island. 

Seema Nikoonezhad  Senior Director, Program Management at Nokia Bell Labs:  My immunocompromised health is a major concern to me and my family and as long as there is covid-upsurge or new variants then my preference is to continue working from home.
