IEEE PES-CH Mentoring Event: Women in Power Switzerland
Connecting mentors and mentees in the power sector in Switzerland
Do you want to develop a mentoring relationship to support your career? This is your opportunity!
Mentoring is an important part of a successful career. In this event, we will help mentors and mentees connect and discuss important topics relating to their career evolution.
Participants will hear from a role model regarding her own experience about mentoring, her thoughts on how to find a good mentor and how the mentoring experience can benefit both the mentor and the mentee.
Mentees will have the opportunity to ask questions to mentors in round-table discussions. Mentors and mentees will have the opportunity to have active one-to-one discussions as the first step to a successful relationship. As a mentor, you will have the chance to meet ambitious, talented women that are looking for guidance and support as their careers develop.
At the end of the event snacks and drinks will be provided to continue networking.
Who should attend?
This event is for all people who are active in the power and energy engineering society. It may be particularly interesting for women interested in pursuing a career in technical fields looking for inspiration by our role model speaker and mentors.
However, we welcome attendance by all, irrespective of gender.
Registration is required to attend this event.
