Abstract:

This presentation will present an integrated communication system consisting of a physical layer waveform, a distributed wideband spectrum and channel sensing algorithm, and an adaptable transmission scheme that chooses optimal waveform parameters based on required reliability and estimated dynamics. The algorithms described have a goal of communication networks are robust and can for harsh environments. The key to adaptivity is a flexible communication waveform based on OFDM with pre-coding based on channel conditions. The network increases robustness collectively estimating the environment, detecting the presence of adversaries, and mitigation.
