HKN Alumni Chapter - Organization & Operation

HKN Alumni Chapters are a relatively rare breed and we will be 'feeling out way' forward as we begin to get organized and determine a coherent set of goals and objectives..  

We hope you can join us to help 'kick start' the organization and help it begin to contribute to the Southeastern Michigan Section family of active Geo-units.  

Biography:

Don C. Bramlett has a BS in Electrical Engineering, an MBA, and a Professional Engineering license in the state of Michigan.

Don spent his entire 44 year career in the energy industry, both in the natural gas industry and the electric power generation industry.  He retired in early 2017 as a Senior Project Engineer from DTE Energy.

Don has been an actively involved volunteer in many organizations.  He is a Life Senior Member of IEEE,  a member of IEEE Eta Kappa Nu, a Fellow of the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers, and a member of the Engineering Society of Detroit College of Fellows.  He is also involved as an adult leader at the troop and district level with the Boy Scouts of America.
