Call for San Diego EMBS Leaders - Respond Today
You are receiving this call to become a chapter officer and help connect our local technical community with the activities of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society. The San Diego Chapter of EMBS is one of its largest, with a great history and some amazing local activities in the technical community. However, we need some renewed local volunteership.
Chapters give EMBS members the valuable opportunity to engage with fellow biomed-technically-interested engineers and scientists at locally-curated events. Chapters host technical talks, meetings, and social events to enable education, collaboration, and networking with fellow members and non-members alike.
What does a chapter officer do? Organize local meetings and joint local meetings with the many San Diego chapters on the wide array of EMBS-related topics. While we're awaiting more leadership, the San Diego Chapter of the Computational Intelligence Society is partnering with us and offering its meetings jointly.
