Minutes for the event:
- Lifang He will be taking over from Xiaochen Guo. Many thanks Lifang!
- Update from Maria: no interest from ESU regarding starting an IEEE chapter.
- Update from Bonnie: Alvernia College has started and engineering program. Bonnie will contact them about starting an IEEE chapter.
- Update from Carole - she has been promoted within the department, and will therefore have limited time for WIE meeting attendance.
- Update from Christine - attending the Grace Hopper conference in September, and will publicize WIE there.
- At the ExCom meeting 8/10/22, James Daley, who is an active member of the IEEE Geothermal 1527 standards committee, addressed Bonnie and Chris to note the lack of female involvement in the Standards committees and at IEEE conferences. Note: find out if Baltimore videotaped their presentation by James.
