Students and Section Leaders: Use the Registration Link


You're invited to join the Region 6 joint Southern and Southwest area meetings at the Cal Poly Pomona Campus.  Meeting includes training and discussions for IEEE section and student leaders across both areas - Southern California and the Southwest US -- with networking time to be provided throughout Saturday.

Student Competitions: There will be a student design contest and a micromouse competition - details to be announced soon- Free, advance registration is required for all competing students

Registration: Please register your attendance now (no later than Saturday, April 11) through the Eventbrite registration link provided below. Your registration ensures we can provide detailed directions for participants and lunch.

Travel Details - Use Ontario Airport (ONT) if you are flying in for this meeting.

Most R6 Southern Area attendees are local and will drive.  Mileage is covered only for designated officers who are traveling more than 50 miles each way.   Travel expenses for the section chair, up to two student officers designated by the branch, and for the branch counselor are covered for R6 Southwest Area and Central Coast Section.  Write to your IEEE R6 area chair for more information on the R6 Area Meeting Travel policy

For those needing to stay overnight, we have currently no reserved block, but we suggest
