Flavia Saldanha is a modern data strategist and Assistant Vice President at Fifth Third Bank, where she oversees enterprise data architecture and drives transformative data initiatives. With over 15 years of experience in modernizing data ecosystems primarily within banking and financial services, she specializes in aligning architecture with business strategy to support AI readiness and regulatory resilience. A passionate advocate for ethical AI and data democratization, Flavia designs and scales modernization programs that fuel enterprise reporting, analytics, and decision-making.
She is a frequent speaker on data leadership, digital transformation, and inclusion in technology. As Chapter Lead for Women in Data Cincinnati and a dedicated STEM champion, she mentors first-generation professionals and women in engineering. Her thought leadership blends strategic vision with technical depth, empowering others to navigate complexity, build influence, and close the gap between ambition and impact.
