Ms. Sara A. Al Mahruqi
IT Auditor, Omantel
Alumna, Majan University College

Ms. Sara A. Al Mahruqi is an IT Auditor at Omantel with strong professional expertise in information systems auditing, information security management, and privacy governance. She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certified by ISACA, and a certified Lead Auditor for ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (Information Security Management Systems) and ISO/IEC 27701:2019 (Privacy Information Management Systems).

She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Network Technology from Majan University College, graduating with First Class honors (2016). Her professional journey reflects a strong combination of technical knowledge, compliance expertise, and real-world industry experience in the telecommunications sector.

Through this alumni talk, Ms. Sara will share practical IT auditing techniques, real workplace case examples, and career guidance for students interested in IT audit, cybersecurity governance, risk management, and professional certifications.
