Industry Mentored Internship Program on Design, Fabrication & Control of Mobile Robotic Arm
The Industry Mentored Internship Program on “Design, Fabrication & Control of Mobile Robotic Arm” is a one-month hybrid internship organized in association with the Directorate of University Industry Interaction Centre (UIIC), JNTUH, and the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, JNTUH UCEST.
The program is designed to provide hands-on experience in robotics by guiding participants through the complete development cycle of a mobile robotic arm from design and fabrication to control and application. The internship combines online sessions and offline practical sessions conducted at JNTUH, enabling students to gain both conceptual understanding and implementation skills.
Participants will be trained in multiple interdisciplinary domains including 3D modeling, 3D printing, embedded systems (Arduino/ESP32), PCB design, Android app development, IoT cloud integration, and Python-based GUI development, Robotic Arm, Mobile Robots. The curriculum also includes hardware assembly of mobile robots and robotic arms, along with control using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cloud platforms.
Throughout the internship, students work in teams to develop a functional robotic system and present their projects at the end of the program. This industry-oriented training enhances practical skills, innovation, and problem-solving abilities, preparing participants for careers in robotics, automation, and emerging technologies.
