State of Tennessee is considering adopting the 2011 NEC while the City of Nashville has already adopted the new code. In this seminar you will learn the key changes in the 2011 code. You will also hear from a committee member and industry expert about the future of the Code and key articles that are of interest to the engineers, designers, installers and owners of electrical power systems. You may even get some insight into the 2014 NEC.

COST: $25.00 for IEEE Members. $30.00 for Non IEEE members. $5.00 for IEEE Student Members.

PDH Credits: PDH Certificates will be issued for 3 PDHs.

Alan Manche, Director of Industry Standards of Schneider Electric

Biography: Mr. Manche has many years of leadership experience with standard making organizations and is presently serving as the chair of NFPA 70B for Electrical Equipment Maintenance, Chair of the 2014 NEC Smart Grid TG, member of NEC code making panel 10 and NFPA 110 for emergency and standby power systems as well as participation in numerous other committees in CSA, UL, NEMA and NFPA.
