IEEE EDS SBC Awareness Program
The IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS) Student Branch Chapter, VIT Chennai, actively participated in the VIT Club Expo to spread awareness about IEEE and the EDS community among students.
The stall featured a series of engaging and interactive activities such as “Guess the Component,” “Find the Output” (logic circuit challenge), and “Resistor Color Code Challenge.” These games encouraged students to apply their technical knowledge in a fun and practical way. Winners were rewarded with candies as a token of appreciation.
Along with these activities, the team promoted upcoming IEEE EDS events and interacted with students to share insights about the benefits of being an IEEE and EDS member, including opportunities for research, networking, and technical growth.
The event took place from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and received enthusiastic participation from students across various departments, successfully raising awareness about the IEEE EDS SBC VIT Chennai and its initiatives.

10:30 AM – 3:00 PM:
Continuous one-on-one engagement with visitors through interactive mini-games and event promotion:-
Guess the Component – identify electronic components to win candies.

Find the Output – determine the output of simple logic circuits.

Resistor Color Code Challenge – calculate resistor values using color codes.

Promotion and discussion of upcoming IEEE EDS events and membership opportunities.
